In this video, we introduce Greer Kirshenbaum, PhD, who gives a preview of her presentation at our Conference, “Nurturing the Infant and Parent Brain Through Connection.” 💜

Greer Kirshenbaum, PhD, is an Author, Neuroscientist, Educator, Doula, and Infant and Family Sleep Specialist. She currently works at Nurture Neuroscience laboratories focusing on early life experiences to help create a healthy brain, mind, and body. This ties in to Dr. Kirshenbaum’s presentation which will address a nurtured connection between parents and their infants. This connection will help to boost mental health in parents and provide the basis for lifelong mental health in infants, but this can only be achieved through a state of quiet alert. Throughout this presentation, Dr. Kirshenbaum will teach how the emotional system grows, how connections grow in the brains of parents and infants, how to identify quiet alert states in infants, how to regulate the adult brain, and how to nurture this connection through the five senses.
