One moment could have caused the sensitivity to our sensations, or consecutive experiences could have affirmed the fact that a physical ailment was imaginably inevitable. Also, suggestions, beliefs and actions of others could have easily been the energies that embedded you with the programming that would become a health anxiety sufferer.

It’s in our abilities to question the subconscious program where we have the ability to change for the better.

Standing guard although practiced many times, holds little power behind it. The cycle is easily breakable the moment a person holds up a white flag, and continues by riding the wave, therefore slowly and surely moving focus elsewhere. Evidence gets built through this non action, the subconscious mind begins to alter its level of sensitivity, and the body begins to secrete less and less adrenaline and cortisol leaving the person searching for where the sensations may have disappeared to.

Your job today as someone going through these health anxiety tips is to understand your level of standing guard. Do you stand guard in the morning upon waking with higher levels of cortisol because you went from unconscious to conscious? Do you stand guard in the evening upon listening to the news and being flustered by the events around the world? Or do you stand guard pretty much all day everyday no matter what?
