Today’s Highlights:

Three suspects robbed a mini-mart at Siewdass and Mission Roads in Freeport around 7:10am on Monday 2nd December 2024.
• One of the suspects was positively identified as 19-year-old Sachez Wayne Deabreu while the others are said to be Jaycey Ramdath and Karyon, a known firearm offender both from the Esperanza Village in Couva.
• The suspects stole a large number of cigarettes, Bic lighters, a $500 float from the cash register, and wrapping paper.
• During the robbery, the suspects spoke with someone on speaker phone and the man on the other line asked if they found the money.

A woman’s Nissan Wingroad car was burnt down after receiving threats from a male relative:
• The incident happened at Bamboo Trace, St John’s Road, South Oropouche.

The body of Kareem St Louis was found in an empty lot of land along Karamath Street in El Dorado on Wednesday 4th December, 2024.

The semi-decomposing, nude body of a pensioner was found slumped over a hammock at his Freeport home on Tuesday 3rd December, 2024.
• The deceased was identified as 68-year-old Basdeo Samuel of Chickland Junction Road, Freeport.

A Missing Mayaro man was found dehydrated in some bush near the sea:
• Curtis Francois was found by a search party, relatives, neighbors, friends, and Mayaro police officers led by Corporal Jaikaran, including PC Mohammed and PC Cooper earlier on Thursday 5th December, 2024.
• Curtis of Eccles Street East, Grand Lagoon, Mayaro has been reported missing since Monday, 2nd December 2024.

A fire officer fell out of a defective moving fire tender near the Siparia Market on Thursday 5th December 2024.
• While approaching the Siparia Market, the door opened, and #3152 James fell from the appliance.

A man is in critical condition at hospital after he was knocked down along S.S. Erin Road in Debe on Monday 2nd December 2024.
• The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Peter Valentine of Cipero Railway Line, Ste Madeleine.

An 18-year-old teenager was arrested after he was locked inside a Brazilian jewelry store during a robbery on Tuesday 3rd December 2024 in Rio Claro:
• The police were contacted, and officers responded and detained Jonah Balliram of Jeffers Crossing, Tabaquite Road, Rio Claro.

An Enterprise woman was granted bail for allegedly smuggling contraband into the ECRC:
• 36-year-old Sasha Meloney appeared before appeared before Master Sookraj Gosami on Tuesday 3rd December, 2024.
• She was granted $100K bail with surety after she was charged with possession of prohibited articles’ and ‘trafficking in marijuana’, almost one week after she was caught attempting to smuggle the items at the Eastern Correctional Rehabilitation Centre.

No bail for alleged extortionists, “Eggy” and “Dawood” who claimed they were in charge of security in Gran Couva and allegedly demanded $40,000.
• 41-year-old David Glasgow aka ‘Eggy’ and ‘Mohammed’ of Caratal Road, Gasparillo, and 22-year-old Kyle Cruickshank, aka ‘Dawood’ of Ben Lomond, Williamsville, were refused bail when they appeared before master Shabiki Cazabon, on Monday.

Violent Barrackpore carjacking suspect linked to 30 robberies, and he’s been on bail for several offenses.
• 21-year-old Orlando Moonilal, who is a suspect in a violent robbery where he took away a woman’s SUV outside Kam Long Chinese restaurant in Barrackpore on Wednesday 27th November 2024, is also being pinpointed for about 30 other robberies across south and south-western Trinidad.
