The Health and Well-being Program for College Students equips students with essential skills and information to navigate the stressors and emotional challenges of college life. The program helps learners practice self-care strategies, recognize when they or their peers are in distress, and take action to find additional support. This project is under the NRCP STEP Small R&D Grant, aligned with Kapakanan ng Tao sa Oras ng Pandemya – COVID (KTOP-COVID) and is considered a joint research initiative between Cebu Technological University – Moalboal Campus, NRCP, and DOST VI. Moreover, this is a part of our shared mission to promote student safety, emotional health, and wellness.
The aims of the health and well-being program are to 1) provide students with a community and an opportunity to feel connected with other students, 2) introduce students to fundamental concepts of health and well-being, including the promotion of mental health, 3) equip the students with tools that would help improve their health and well-being.
