Hemp covid treatment – Cannabis for covid :
In a recent laboratory study, Cannabis compounds prevented Covid 19 virus from entering healthy human cells.
The study was conducted by researchers from Oregon State University and published in the Journal of Nature Products.
In a chemical screening process it was observed that the cannabigerolic acid and cannabidiolic acid found in hemp have the potential to combat coronavirus.
They were found bounding the spike proteins of the virus and blocked a step the pathogen uses to infect people.
The Cannabis compounds were tested against alpha and beta variants of the virus in a laboratory.
However, the scope of study didn’t included testing the supplements on people or comparing infection rates among those who took the Cannabis compounds and those who donβt.
