About Dr Anand Chockalingam:
Dr Anand has done his MD, FACC, FAHA, FASE. His major emphasis is cardiomyopathy, mental stress and holistic interventions with over 65 original publications. He gives invited lectures on stress cardiomyopathy and heart failure at several international conferences. Dr Anand features regularly in TV, radio and print media to increase awareness about heart health. Dr Anand is the founder of hilifejourney, a non profit online initiative taking CVD prevention to cardiac patients globally. He collaborates with exercise and nutrition scientists to improve diet, exercise and lifestyle for cardiac patients. He has pioneered a unique ‘Heartful Living’ cardiac wellness program both in the US and India for improving health through deeper self-inquiry. Over the last 5 years, hundreds of heart patients have gained insight and confidence through the 8- week Heartful Living course.

Dharmadhikari Award’ for Excellence in Co-curricular activities, Awarded ‘Multi-faceted Women Achiever’ by MegaTV on International Women’s Day (2016), ‘Kalai Selvi’ by JeyanKonda Vinayagar School, Nachiapuram, ‘Isai Thendral’ by Tiruvalluvar Kazhagam, Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple.
Apart from this,I have also won various prizes in Chess, Badminton, Singing and Keyboard competitions in both national and international level. During covid period, I have raised funds and donated Oxygen Concentrators for few hospitals in India.
