A huge thanks to our Canberra correspondent who has spent two weeks documenting the protests and camp life of the Canberra Freedom movement.
The incident described in the middle of this video happened at Camp Cotter, before Camp Unity was formed. A group of young Canberrans had driven to the camp to intimidate protesters at night. The police arrived and nobody was injured.
Camp Unity was created to provide a place for the vulnerable or less equipped. It closed today and it’s members are traveling in a convoy. This short film is comprised of a collection of footage from Camp Unity, respecting the privacy of those who wish to remain anonymous.
This channel does not aim to be a source of information or planning regarding protests or demonstrations.
Our responsibility is to bring coverage when Mainstream Media refuse to do so.
Please consider supporting this channel by donating or joining the Patreon, but only if you are financially able. Recording and editing these films is an enormous task which often takes days at a time.
Melbourne Ground thanks you!
