A historic moment for Antigua and Barbuda and the #SaveSoil international campaign: The first MoU signed by Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne and world renowned Yogi Mr. Sadhguru Jagadish Vaudev, Founder of Conscious Planet. The MoU takes into account the need for national policies to secure future and present soil health. Today’s signing officially launches a global ecological campaign aimed at engaging large sections of society to take decisive action on climate change and soil degradation. OECS Heads of Government will also engage the #savethesoil campaign. Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. The Honourable Timothy Harris , Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, the Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit and Prime Minister of St. Lucia, the Hon. Philip J. Pierre also attended the historic signing ceremony virtually.
The Save Soil movement aims to educate the public about the vital role that Soil plays in the Planet’s sustainable future with the objective of effecting Policy Redirection in the Democratic World.
The Government of Antigua and Barbuda is interested in the well-being of the citizens of Antigua and Barbuda to ensure future food and ecological security of the nation. And for the same, the Government wishes to take all possible measures to stop soil degradation and enhance soil quality.
The ceremony was also attended by International Soca Star @machelmontano , the Hon. Sir Molwyn Joseph, Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, The Hon. Samantha Marshall, Minister of Agriculture Fisheries and Barbuda Affairs and the Honorary Consul of India Mr. Vijay Tewani.
Save Soil is a Global Movement to initiate a conscious approach to soil and planet. The movement seeks to show governments of all nations that their citizens want a policy to revitalize soil and ecology.
To activate and demonstrate the support of over 3.5 billion citizens, Sadhguru will be riding as a lone motorcyclist, 30,000 kilometers across 27 nations.
The arduous journey will start in London and end in southern India, where the Cauvery Calling project, initiated by Sadhguru, has enabled 125,000 farmers to plant 62 million trees to revive soil and river Cauvery.

Activating citizen participation will ensure that ecological issues become election issues, so that governments create policies and set budgets for ecological solutions, leading to sustained implementation.
