Nick represents companies and individuals in tax audits, trials and collections. He is chair of the Cannabis Law Group and a partner at Greenspoon Marder – a national law firm. He is also an adjunct professor of law at the University of Denver and a board member to several companies and non-profits. His practice focuses on advising and representing cannabis companies, startups, M&A, federal, state and local tax, audits and tax litigation. Nick is licensed to practice law in Colorado and California. Nick was an IRS Trial Attorney in CA and CO, a Special Assistant United States Attorney in CA, and he was Staff attorney to the IRS Chief and Division Counsels in D.C.
