Tyler Rice is Co-founder and VP of Business Development at the Digital Wellness Institute. An experienced social entrepreneur, Tyler’s eyes were opened to the importance of Digital Wellness during his years spent in healthcare and corporate consulting. Motivated to address the growing need for Digital Wellness in the workplace, Tyler pursued coursework through Stanford’s School of Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and social innovation at NYU to solve for the “always on” mentality that leads to stress, burnout, and lack of employee retention for companies of all sizes.

Bailey Parnell is the Founder & CEO of SkillsCamp, a soft skills training company, and was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women. Bailey is a 2x TEDx speaker with over 3 million views, an award-winning and internationally-recognized entrepreneur, an active humanitarian, and one with a talent for helping people develop the skills they need for success. Her work and expertise have been featured in Forbes, Good Morning America, CBC, and more. Bailey did her Masters in Communications and Culture at Ryerson University with research looking into social media’s impact on mental health, the results of which she’s presented in multiple global forums and turned into her signature 5 Steps Towards #SafeSocial and a connected nonprofit of the same name.

Patrick Walker is a former foreign news journalist turned tech executive, Patrick has been at the forefront of the convergence of media and technology since the start of his career producing educational TV for Japan’s national broadcaster NHK and covering regional hotspots as the BBC’s South East Asia Bureau Chief. Hired by Google to lead their international video strategy, Patrick transitioned to become YouTube’s first international employee, launching the platform in over 80 countries worldwide. After a stint building, selling and becoming the CEO of an online video start-up, Patrick was drawn back to Big Tech to lead Facebook and Instagram’s video efforts as the Director of Media Partnerships for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In 2019, Patrick committed himself to the future of learning as the Co-Founder of Uptime (www.uptime.app), a ‘Knowledge Hacking’ app whose mission is to inspire anyone to learn and thrive in a fast-changing world. Patrick has a Master’s Degree in Education from Harvard University and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Southern California. He was raised in Seattle, and has enjoyed living in Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Boston, Bangkok and London before moving with his family to Lisbon this summer.

Mark Ostach helps people find the courage to connect. A globally recognized speaker on Digital Wellness and frequently featured in the USA Today, Mark has done two TED talks, written 2 books, and spoken to thousands of people encouraging them to embrace a spirit of courage through vulnerability. Mark has degrees in psychology, technology, and an interest in behavioral neuroscience. His mission is to remind the world that human connection is the most powerful connection we have.

Oluwatosin Olabode is a changemaker at the intersection of both the physical and digital world, facilitating ecosystems that promote more humane digital habits geared towards digital flourishing. He is a Certified Digital Wellness Educator, an alumnus of the Digital Wellness Institute, an African Ambassador for Digital Wellness Day, a Barack Obama’s Young African Leader Initiative Fellow, and a Wealth of Positive Energy! He’s a writer and author of seven books, a 2-Time TEDx and International Speaker, a Mental Health Advocate, and the creator of the #NoGadgetHangout and No Gadget Hangout Resource Guide- a digital wellness toolkit designed for Intention and Attention Management as people learn to leverage non-tech activities. His eighth book, Digitally Well: Structures and Society in the Tech Era is billed for publication before the end of 2022. Oluwatosin is the Founder of Doing Healthy Africa- a digital wellness consultancy helping young people build the stamina and technical know-how needed to thrive within the digital world. He is also the Founder of Strengthening Society Today Foundation- a youth-led NGO providing mental health interventions that bridge the gap between those that need help and those that can offer help.
