This brief 5-minute meditation is a great way to pause before meal times. A simple technique of connecting to your present moment with a basic breath work session of three deep breaths. This is the first step of digestion, allowing the body and the mind to enter a relaxed state so that the foods we eat can become utilized by our bodies in the best way. Introducing slowness, focus, and ease at each meal time.
Once you are comfortable with this technique, you can create a ritual before meal times that works best for you. Using the guidance of this meditation as a starting point. As only you know what is best for your body.
