Mary Hardy founded the Integrative Medicine Clinic at Cedars-Sinai in LA. She has extensive experience in evaluating evidence base for the efficacy and safety of CAM. She served on and chaired several United States Pharmacopeia (USP) expert committees and was the recent past Medical Director of the Simms/Mann-UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology. Dr. Hardy is the past Co-Director of Integrative Medicine Health and Wellness Program at the Venice Family Clinic, the largest US free clinic. Here current research interests include reviewing the evidence for the safety and efficacy of natural therapies, especially botanicals. She is currently a faculty member of the AIHM Fellowship and teaches several courses on Herb-Drug Interaction and Botanical Medicine.
