Hi guys 👋 My name is Sarah Sekula (@sarahsomewhere). I’m an adventure travel journalist based in Hawaii. 🏝️
I roam around all seven continents to discover the amazing and obscure, interview extraordinary humans and film and photograph some of the most incredible places on earth. 🌎
Speaking of amazing destinations, I’d love to take you along on an RV trip to one of my favorite national parks: Yosemite. ⛰️
Tomorrow I’ll be taking over @outdoorsy’s Instagram account to show you what it’s like navigating Yosemite’s twisty-turny roads in a very large 2021 Airstream Atlas. 🚙
Known as the Airbnb of the RV world, Outdoorsy rents everything from fancy Sprinter vans with wood-paneled interiors and solar-paneled roofs to teardrop trailers that can be towed by a Prius. It’s a pretty rad way to take the #vanlife for a spin before committing to it. 🙌

A little bit about what I do:
When I’m not zigzagging around the planet—learning to pilot an airplane above Tampa Bay, swimming with tiger sharks (on purpose) in the Bahamas or spending some QT with penguins in Antarctica—I’m writing about unusual excursions, fitness, health/wellness and remarkable people. 🐧🦈✈️
So far, assignments for USA Today, CNN, NBC, ESPN, Lonely Planet, Frommer’s and Matador Network have taken me to all seven continents. 🤪
