Author: Nour Sidi
Project Name: Exhale Women Wellness Center
Semester and Year: Spring 2020
Thesis Statement: Several reports demonstrated that women suffer from greater stress and anxiety than men. Not only that but women’s health is more sensitive to the effects of stress. While there is no single reason for this, it is suggested that increasing responsibilities for women in modern life are giving women less time to focus on their wellbeing which can be a big factor in their stress and anxiety. My center will help this problem by providing a safe, supportive community and environment where women can focus on their physical and mental wellbeing outside of their busy daily lives. Using a combination of physical activities and meditation will reduce stressors, anxiety, and increase focus on healthy living, motivating them on self-healing.
