Dr. Marina Green is an Internal Medicine consultant from Mexico. She is a postgraduate researcher in the Nutrition Research Centre Ireland, in Waterford Institute of Technology. She received her medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) Medical School, Mexico in 2011. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Medicas y Nutricion Salvador Zubiran (INCMNSZ), Mexico in 2016. After completing her training in internal medicine, she pursued a research career in Nutrition at the NRCI where she successfully attained a PhD Scholarship through competitive interview. Currently, she is working on the COAST research project to enhance xanthophyll carotenoidβs bioavailability and to investigate the impact of targeted nutrition. Dr. Green is interested on metabolism, the relationship between nutrition and health, and developing public policies for real change in human health through the cooperation between basic and clinical research.
