The Best Explanation For Someone's Behaviour Might Be The One You HAVEN'T Considered

The best explanation for someone’s behaviour might be the one you haven’t considered. People have a tendency to look for explanations that have caused a certain event. When doing so, they are at risk of making what is called a “fundamental attribution error”. Fundamental attribution errors are defined as situations in which someone will explain another person’s behavior based on their personality traits and other internal factors, rather than situational aspects or external circumstances.
