Cannabis as Medicine after Rally Crash | Cannabis News Network

As a navigator Bart Hissink crashed, in 2009, with a hundred and sixty kilometres an hour against a tree. He was in a coma for two weeks!

After a long road to recovery and lots of medication, mainly painkillers, Bart felt his life could be improved in trying something else. Cannabis!

He believes people should have the constitutional right to grow their own cannabis.

Recent years more and more people suffering with traumatic brain Injury are using cannabis as a medicine.

Contradictory, from this year the Dutch Health Insurance companies will no longer reimburse medicinal cannabis because of a lack of scientific, pharmaceutical proof!

In the local municipality a hearing is on its way, allowing citizen’s like Bart to grow their own medicine, cannabis.

The Dutch parliament is discussing this month a new bill how to handle the supply to coffee shops. Not a word in the proposal about home-grown and all the other remaining problems caused by the illegality of a plant.
