Mark Troyer, president of Troyer Farms in Waterford Township, has begun a new company called Farmulated, which is growing hemp and processing CBD oil for retail sale. Hemp plants are a close relative to marijuana plants. The hemp plant is high in CBD (cannabidiol) and low in THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is the ingredient that gives the user a high.
