As Maryland prepares to allow adults 21 and older to buy marijuana for recreational use, there are several campaigns underway to educate people about how to consume it safely. More people are expected to experiment with cannabis when the new law takes effect Saturday, some to address medical issues and others to just find out what it feels like. The advice from every expert who spoke with 11 News was the same, and it came from experience: It’s important to ask questions and to know what you’re doing before you take that first taste. There’s no way to know exactly how cannabis will affect you; it’s a bit of trial and error.
