This is Thailand, teetering on the edge of stricter drug laws.

These people are protesting the possible rollback of the legalisation of cannabis and hemp – a product that grows abundantly in the southeast Asian nation.

Thailand’s a country that, not long ago, had some of the strictest drug policies in the world.

But in June 2022, their military government removed cannabis flowers – the part of the plant that gets users high – from its narcotics list.
