Breaking anxiety’s chains can be confusing and frustrating without the right guidance. In today’s episode of the anxiety guy podcast I will take you by the hand and show you the route forward. Enjoy!
Do you ever feel utterly exhausted, trapped in a relentless cycle of anxiety and negative thoughts? Well, let me welcome you to my world, the Anxiety Guy podcast. I’m Dennis Simsek, and in today’s episode, I’m going to take you on a personal journey deep into the heart of the energy expenditures that fuel my anxiety.
I used to wake up, thinking, “Why am I so drained, despite getting a good night’s sleep?”
It took some introspection to realize where my precious energy was going. This podcast episode is all about uncovering the hidden costs of anxiety, both conscious and unconscious.
I’ll share the profound insight that both conscious and unconscious thoughts, as well as emotions, consume energy. It’s crucial to recognize that my energy can either be drained by the fearful, ego-driven thoughts or nourished by thoughts aligned with my true, peaceful self.
I want you to ponder this: Who’s doing the thinking right now, the anxious self or the one striving for inner peace? The answer is transformative, as it determines whether I’m losing or gaining energy.
But it doesn’t stop there. Unconscious and consciously driven emotions also play a significant role. If I default to fear because it’s what I’ve practiced most often, I’ll experience anxiety more frequently. However, by intentionally fostering positive emotions through posture, breathing, and intention, I can fuel my day with energy.
My focus matters too. Dwelling on past difficulties saps my energy, while a focus on creation and growth fills me with enthusiasm.
Breaking anxiety’s chains takes a mindful approach towards where energy expenditure is going.
Behaviors, whether unconscious or consciously driven, have their say. Unconscious habits can drain my energy, but by consciously choosing empowering behaviors, I can reclaim my vitality.
Words hold immense power. I’ve learned to shift my language from negative to positive, aligning my words with the life I want to create.
Opening my heart to all experiences, even criticisms and discomfort, has been a game-changer. It allows me to navigate life with empathy and unconditional love.
If you’re eager to liberate yourself from anxiety’s grip and live a life filled with vitality and inner peace, then join me on this transformative journey. Remember, you are more than anxiety.
Stay tuned for the next podcast episode, where we’ll continue our quest for healing and self-discovery. Until then, catch up on all of my YouTube Anxiety Support Videos my friends, and take care.
