What I Ate Today Food Diary – Marathon Training Week 4

Hello! As promised I’m excited to get back to some food diary and running blogging style posts. I’ve been really good about taking pics of what I’m eating, runs and work outs this week. The photos are starting to pile up so here’s a food diary post with a full day of eats. (Okay, not a 1000% full day of eats – I eat 5 pounds of watermelon per day to meet my quota. And random snacks like nuts or string cheese are usually camera shy.)

Running Notes: I’m doing a recap of this week’s training in an upcoming post because I need to grab my Running Log and watch stats first. Overall I feel like it’s going well. I’m slower than I’d like, slower than I used to be – but I didn’t do any races in 2020 and didn’t do speed workouts so that’s expected.

What I Ate in a Day

Random Treat: My dad just got back from Hawaii and brought back these chocolate covered macadamia nuts. I usually just eat the chocolate around it because I’m traumatized from macadamia nuts, long story.

Snack: Popcorn while watching Happy Endings – an oldish sitcom I just discovered on Netflix… Have you heard of it? My friend thought it was a movie – apparently there’s a movie with the same title.

I listen to the Betch Sesh podcast and one of the hosts Casey Wilson, was on the that sitcom. She’s very funny and dramatic and Andy Cohen was recently on their podcast and raved about her book ‘The Wreckage of My Presence‘.

happy endings

Well, I listened to it on Audible and then wanted more content so I started to watch Happy Endings. Sadly, it’s only 3 seasons so I don’t know what I’ll do after this. I need more funny content!

Anyway. That’s my day of eats and repeats.

Question: Ever heard of the show Happy Endings?

Have you seen it? Who’s your favorite?
