A Lesson from the Great Depression

We all know that life is never easy, but making ends meet is tough.

As the world economy is experiencing a downturn, it is essential to remember that it has been this way every now and again. The Great Depression was a time of hardship and poverty, with many struggling to find work and make ends meet.

In the 1920s, U.S. President Herbert Hoover was trying to do just that during the Great Depression. His quote meant that when you think you’ve got things under control and you’re finally starting to get ahead, something happens that knocks you back down again.

The lesson for us would be that even if life is hard, we should be ready to adapt to any change and make sure we don’t get caught off guard when things get worse than they already are.
