A Mindfulness Experience with Drs. Misha Kogan & Eileen Yager

This week’s A Mindfulness Experience facilitators are Mikhail “Misha” Kogan, MD, associate professor of Medicine in the GW School of Medicine & Health Sciences, founder and executive director of AIM Health Institute, and medical director of the GW Center for Integrative Medicine, and Eileen D. Yager, MD, FAAP, pediatrician and Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Dr. Kogan did a COVID-19 Q&A and wellness talk at the beginning of the event, followed by 20-30 minute mindfulness practice led by Dr. Yager, who is the director of the Integrative Pain/Symptom Management Clinic at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Through the University of Colorado School of Medicine Resilience Council, she gives mindfulness practices, other meditation/pain relief, and stress reduction workshops on campus and in the Denver pediatric community.

This free, weekly, online event includes an evidence based answers to your COVID-19 questions, wellness talk by a health professional, and stress-relieving mindfulness session. The mind-body practice will begin at 2:30 pm ET. AME is brought to you by the GW Office of Integrative Medicine and Health and AIM Health Institute.
