On February 24th, 2023, Officer Enguita was dispatched to a school about a disoriented parent who picked up their child in Orland Park, Illinois. The teacher showed footage of a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Caroline striking a plastic construction barrier and mounting the sidewalk during student pickup. The teacher tried to talk with her, but she refused to speak with her, prompting the teacher to call the police as she was concerned about the well-being of the driver and the child. Officer Enguita then traveled to Caroline’s residence to conduct a wellness check on her.
