Live Tonight on Millennium Stage: The Kennedy Center joins the NeuroArts Blueprint, an initiative of the Aspen Institute and Johns Hopkins Medicine, to present a series of in-depth discussions about the potential of the arts to improve our health and well-being.

Susan Magsamen, director of the International Arts + Mind Lab at Johns Hopkins University and co-director of the NeuroArts Blueprint, will be joined by RenΓ©e Fleming, Artistic Advisor to the Kennedy Center and World Health Organization Goodwill Ambassador for Arts and Health; Dr. David Fakunle, Assistant Professor at Morgan State University School of Community Health & Policy and Associate Faculty at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health; and Sarah Lock, Senior Vice President for Policy and Brain Health in AARP’s Policy, Research and International Affairs (PRI).

With a global epidemic of loneliness, division, and social isolation, and the broad impacts of social media and technology, how can the arts help us reconnect with each other? Join us for a discussion with experts from Johns Hopkins and AARP on how different communities engage in the arts across the lifespan and how the arts can promote healthy aging through social connection.
