Welcome to the Saint James Missionary Baptist Church Black History Program titled Black Health and Wellness MATTERS! Our goal is to educate you on the disparities in health care and I hope that we were successful! The source of our narrative was a June 15, 2021 document “Racial Discrimination in Healthcare: How Structural Racism affects Healthcare”. We are quick to say Black Lives Matter when black persons are killed unjustly. Well, disparate healthcare treatment could result in premature death.
