In our 5th episode of Season 2, we talk with Adrian “Ace” Harburda (IG: @ace1mmc) and Bea Lesaca (IG: @Bea Lesaca ).
Adrian “Ace” Harburda is a Filipino American who works supporting students and families in the school district with academic, mental health, and housing support. He is a Los Angeles b-boy legend due to his accolades in the b-boy scene as a competitor, in the cyphers, and as a judge since 1991.
Bea started as a b-girl in 2003 and has performed internationally as a competitor, guest & judge ever since. She was apart of Funk Roots b-boying crew and the world renowned Philippine Allstars. Bea has traveled all around the world (Nepal, China, India, Morocco, USA, etc) to judge, mentor, and also learn from different cultures & teachers. Currently, she teaches dance from prep to high school at Headway School for Giftedness and is the Creative Head of Beasthouse Pole and Aerial Dance Studio.
