BREAKING: Pepper spray used on anti-lockdown protesters in Melbourne CBD | RAW VISION

Pepper spray has been deployed by Victoria Police after an anti-lockdown protest in Melbourne’s CBD.

Hundreds of people chanted “freedom” hours after the state’s SIXTH lockdown come into effect, following 6 new locally-acquired COVID-19 cases overnight.

Video filmed by @therealrukshan shows the moment authorities used pepper spray on the protesters, with reports of several arrests.

“The smartest thing would be to ignore them and let them make their way home,” the person filming the video commented.

“But I don’t think that’s gonna happen.”
