Brittney Griner says she considered taking her own life while detained in a Russian prison.

Brittney was arrested at Moscow airport in February 2022, after being found carrying cannabis oil in vape cartridges.

She was then sentenced to nine years in a Russian prison.

After 10 months detained in Russia, Brittney was released as part of a prisoner swap with Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout.
