Can Cannabis Save Our Son From Severe Epilepsy? (Medical Documentary) | Real Stories

Loved for their critiquing of TV programmes on Gogglebox, Steph and Dom Parker are infamous bon viveurs and entertainers. But behind the laughter, the Parkers are fighting a life or death battle, trying to help their 18-year-old son, Max, who suffers from severe epilepsy through the most dangerous period of his life. Currently, Max has over 100 epileptic seizures a day and any one of them could be fatal.

Recently, Steph and Dom have been given new hope as medical marijuana is being used to reduce or even eliminate these deadly seizures. But they – just like thousands of families worldwide – are currently being refused treatment. With exclusive access, this film follows Steph, Dom and their teenage daughter Honor as they try to work out just how effective cannabis oil could be. Is this the miracle cure they’ve been looking for? And – if so – how can they get hold of it for Max?
