In this week’s Safe Home Podcast, Joey joins Beth to talk with Jason Wilson about the science and side effects of cannabis. Jason is a botanist, educator, author, and podcaster whose primary interest right now is cannabis. He studies the chemistry and microbiology of cannabis, and has unique expertise in quality management systems and regulatory compliance in the burgeoning cannabis growing industry. He published a science textbook “Curious About Cannabis” and has a podcast with the same name.
In this episode we talk about how our culture either demonizes or glorifies cannabis, and neither is particularly helpful. We want to help get the FACTS out about cannabis — what’s good about it and what makes it harmful, too. Jason lays it out without any bias, and gives parents guidance for how to talk with our kids about this very popular substance.
