Cannabis Worth Rs 500 Crore Destroyed By Andhra Pradesh Police Under 'Operation Parivartan'



In a comprehensive program under ‘Operation Parivartan,’ the Andhra Pradesh police have destroyed cannabis worth Rs 500 crore. This task was carried out on Saturday at a village in Vishakhapatnam. This is seen as a massive achievement against drugs as the government of Andhra Pradesh has been working extensively against it.
Operation Parivartan was launched in August last year, under which the task of burning 200 kg of cannabis was carried out. More than 1,500 arrests have been made, and around 1,363 cases have been registered under this program so far. Watch to know more!
