Caring Communities: Promoting Infant Massage Classes Locally

Calling all CEIMs! We want to help you as much as we can on your journey to share infant massage with families in your community. That’s why we’re hosting this webinar all about promoting infant massage classes locally. In this hour-long presentation, forty minutes will be dedicated to giving tips and tricks with Infant Massage USA’s Marketing and Brand Manager, Nick Martinez, and the final 20 minutes will be a Q&A portion with CEIM and Trainer, Marija Eanes.

Nick Martinez is a brand strategist with a passion for people. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies with a minor in Sociology from the University of Virginia. Currently, he is pursuing his Master’s in Business at the VCU Brandcenter, concentrating in Brand Strategy. Nick specializes in reframing problems and humanizing brands. He’s gained this experience as a Content Strategist at the UVA Education School and a Strategist at globally celebrated advertising agencies, Ogilvy and Saatchi & Saatchi. Presently, he is working as the Marketing and Brand Manager at Infant Massage USA.

Marija Eanes was introduced to infant massage in 2011 when she received her training in Montreal, Canada. She immediately fell in love with the idea of parents being the ones massaging their babies and the emphasis on the relationship and bond being created. She became the pioneer, the only educator in her home country of Serbia, where in 2015 she founded the IAIM Chapter. She is still serving on the Board of the Serbian Chapter, and has been involved with both the USA Chapter and the International Association of Infant Massage. She recently earned her Trainer Certification and just taught her first Training in February 2024. After having worked with families on two continents for over ten years, her mission is to expand her outreach, training new educators and instructors. She believes that every child deserves the best family possible and that supporting every parent in the early days and weeks of their life with the baby is the key. Parental mental health and mindful parenting is her primary focus. Apart from being actively involved with the IMUSA, Marija is also a member of PSI (Postpartum Support International). Marija holds three additional certifications: Musical Baby Bonding™ instructor, a yoga and prenatal yoga instructor and a Newborn Behavioral Observation Practitioner.
