Cannabis companies are suing California over emergency regulations that tax cannabis accessories.

CATALYST INC. is a Canadian cannabis company that manufactures, supplies and sells cannabis products, including cannabis accessories. In October 2017, California enacted emergency regulations imposing a total tax on all cannabis products, including cannabis accessories. The regulation taxes all cannabis products at a rate of $9.25 per ounce, regardless of the THC content.
