Allie Hiller is a mother, a certified health coach, social media enthusiast, and the creator of the website/blog, Healthy Alibi. She also provides recipes, nutrition tips, and grocery and pantry consulting. Allie began her journey to health and wellness approximately five years ago after receiving the news she had celiac disease. Inspired by her own transformation from suffering from celiac disease to health nut, Allie helps people of all ages, shapes, and genders find their healthiest selves from the inside out.
In this audio interview with our Different and Able President and Founder, Alexandra Nicklas, Allie talks about health, wellness, motherhood and the mission to help those with celiac disease. She explains how she was misdiagnosed as a child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), rather than celiac disease, which causes similar symptoms. Through her journey of whole self wellness, Allie provides strategies on how she focuses largely on the positive, the importance of one’s mental health and how it can exponentially influence one’s well-being.
