DMH Collaborates with Medical Mission from USA

Davis Memorial Hospital recently collaborated with a visiting Medical Team from the USA in a significant outreach initiative. This collaboration was a key component of the Health Fair hosted by the Guyana Conference of Seventh-day Adventists at the Sophia Exhibition Complex.

The Health Fair aimed to provide essential medical services and health education to the local community. The visiting medical team, in partnership with Davis Memorial Hospital, offered a range of services, including free medical check-ups, dental care, vision screenings, and health consultations. Additionally, there were educational sessions on nutrition, preventive care, and managing chronic diseases.

The initiative was well-received by the community, with many residents expressing their gratitude for the accessible healthcare services and the valuable information provided. This collaborative effort not only helped address immediate health concerns but also promoted long-term wellness and preventive health practices.

The successful partnership between Davis Memorial Hospital and the visiting medical team highlights the importance of international collaboration in improving healthcare access and outcomes. The event also underscored the commitment of the Guyana Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to support the well-being of the local community through meaningful health initiatives.
