DRUGS AND FUTURE

Course Introduction
This is a 4 week course on the topic of NDPS, DRUGS YES. In this course, we will discuss the history of NDPS, how it was criminalized during the British era, and how it is progressing with changes in regulation over the years. To begin with the problem of drugs, narcotic, psychotropic, hallucinogen, et cetera is something that is not very widely known because of the poor stigmatisation of the society and therefore a limited exposure that one gets even after entering the field of law and hence there are very few advocates who practise NDPS and have any knowledge about the Law as well as its trial process for starters. Therefore, a fully new concept something that is only covered from a preparation angle for exams but so far as the common terms used in actual cases to how dealers conduct their supply chain to what are the different kinds of drugs and what is the chemical classification on the basis of which the NDPS act sorts different substances you get it all over here. There are three things I have put in wrongly, the one who points out the three mistakes gets to try an NDPS case alongside me in Delhi in the next one year.
