Effects of Temperature and Irrigation on Cannabinoid Composition & Yield

As part of FAFS Online Lecture Series, Dr. Dina Saleh, postdoctoral fellow at McGill University, presented a lecture on the effects of temperature and irrigation on cannabinoid composition and yield in Cannabis Sativa L.. Dr. Saleh has a wide range of expertise given the complexity and diversity of her government, entrepreneurial and scientific work. She is currently helping to manage the largest cannabis team at McGill University providing scientific, regulatory, and quality insight and ensuring a safe working environment.

During the lecture, Dr. Saleh discussed the current work done on cannabis plants to determine the effect of cultivation conditions on the cannabinoid profile of the plant and its physiology, as well as microbial inoculation effects on the plant. Additionally, Dr. Saleh gave an overview on the innovative work done on cannabis CT scans and introduced a new trichomes quantification methodology.
