Pam Devine is the co-founder and operations manager of LowCarbUSA and she was instrumental in the creation of the Society of Metabolic Health Practitioners.
She has used therapeutic carbohydrate reduction (TCR) to sustainably lose body fat and improve her own health, and she is now helping others learn more about the benefits that can be achieved by the reduction of carbohydrates (including sugar and processed foods) in one’s diet.
Pam has a passion for helping people, and has more than 40 years of experience in service-based environments including customer, employee, or marketing team support in healthcare diagnostic setting, hospital, doctors’ office, retail, and the corporate arena.
Pam has extensive experience with hosting events and overseeing the day to day operations of a large organization. A large part of her work is the planning and execution of the Symposium for Metabolic Health conferences that are hosted each year by LowCarbUSA in collaboration with The SMHP.
Tro, Brian, and Pam talk about Pam’s nutritional and professional history, the beginnings of LowCarbUSA, the effects of low-carb dieting on mood and mental health, food addiction, and much more.
They talk extensively about the upcoming Symposium for Metabolic Health to be held January 13-15, 2023 in Boca Raton, FL, including the exciting new component focused on carbohydrate and processed food addiction.
