You may have seen Extinction Rebellion’s trendy logo on a hemp backpack lately. The media and many in the environmentalist movement like to portray Extinction Rebellion like they’re just another green group: A slightly more flamboyant version of the World Wildlife Fund or the Natural Resources Defence Council.
But I’m afraid that’s very wrong. First, as the name suggests, Extinction Rebellion believes that if humanity doesn’t take radical action on climate change, it will lead to mass extinction.
