Widener Law Commonwealth hosted the Fifth Annual Emergency Medical Services Symposium on Friday, November 17, 2023. This program was co-sponsored by the Widener Law Commonwealth Law and Government Institute, Page, Wolfberg & Wirth, LLC, the Ambulance Association of Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania Fire and Emergency Services Institute.

The symposium focused on exciting new developments in EMS law, regulation, and practice, as well as challenges faced by practitioners and health care organizations delivering emergency medical care.

Among the featured panelists on the program were Nathan Silcox, executive director of the Pennsylvania Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, Sean Harris, Executive Director of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, the heads of Pennsylvania’s Fire and Emergency Services Institute and Ambulance Association of PA, C. Steven Lyle, executive director, Emergency Health Services Federation, and several Page, Wolfberg & Wirth, LLC attorneys.
