Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura testified that if it wasn’t for cannabis, his wife wouldn’t have been able to overcome chronic seizures. “I had to make a decision between Minnesota law and my wife, and guess what, my wife won,” Ventura said. Opponents of the bill pointed out concerns that medical research shows brains do not mature until someone reaches their mid-20s.
