Today’s Highlights:

Tobago has recorded its 4th murder after a man was shot and killed near a bar in Dutch Fort, Scarborough on Thursday 15th February 2024.
• The deceased has been identified as Vernon Thomas aka Tucker of Mt Grace, Tobago who was said to be in his 60’s.

20-year-old Reese O’Brian of Hilltop Drive in Maraval died after he was shot near his home on Thursday 15th February 2024.

A shooting in Coconut Drive, Morvant left three (3) persons injured early on Friday 16th February, 2024.

A man was reportedly shot in the face during an attempted robbery in Trou Macaque Road, Laventille on Thursday 15th February, 2024.

A woman, only identified as Kia was allegedly shot by her boyfriend Reggie, during a domestic dispute at their home in KP Lands, Valencia on Thursday 15th February, 2024.

A man was arrested after he was caught attempting to break into several vehicles parked outside the Queen’s Park Savannah during the Momentum Concert on Thursday 15th February 2024.

CCTV footage captured an arson attack at a food stall next to Young Ho Lee’s restaurant on El Socorro Road on Thursday 15th February, 2024.

A man, who allegedly attempted to break into a KFC branch in Siparia was arrested after he was caught hiding in the ceiling on Thursday 15th February, 2014.

Police captured a man who reportedly broke into several homes in Edinburg 500 on Thursday 15th February, 2024.

A police officer reportedly pulled out his firearm following a dispute with another man over a parking space in Siparia on Wednesday 14th February 2024.

A bandit broke into D Pet & Agro Center in Claxton Bay and stole several items on Monday 12th February 2024.

A man was sentenced to five months of hard labour after pleading guilty to robbery with aggravation against a 70-year-old woman on January 30th, when he appeared before Master Shabiki Cazabon at the High Court in Rio Claro.
• The accused was identified as 37-year-old Kevin Prime, a labourer, of Old Railway Road, Rio Claro.

Two men are expected to appear in court on Monday after pleading guilty to cultivation of approximately $3.5m worth of marijuana, possession of a prohibited weapon, and possession of ammunition when they appeared before a Master at the High Court in Sangre Grande on Wednesday.
• The suspects men identified as 21-year-old Saleem Villaruel and 42-year-old Azizi Williams both of Sangre Grande.

The Trinidad and Tobago coast guard has confirmed that at least two vessels were involved in the oil spill in the Tobago Sea, 200 meters off the coast of the Cove Industrial Park on Wednesday 7th February 2024.
• The mystery surrounding the oil spill deepened on Wednesday 14th February, when it was revealed that the Gulfstream, one of two vessels involved in the incident was found; however, the whereabouts of the other vessel, a tugboat identified as solo Creed remains unknown.
• The TT Coast Guard confirmed that the two vessels were a tugboat and a barge from Panama that was bound for Guyana.
• The Coast Guard is reportedly collaborating with other local and regional agencies, including Caricom Impacs, the Guyana Coast Guard, the Maritime Services Division, and IR Concilium, through a consultant, to identify the vessels and their owners.

Following the incident, Guyana’s Vice President Dr Bharrat Jagdeo said that his country should not be held accountable for Tobago’s oil spill disaster, which was caused by a vessel that was enroute to Guyana.
