Today’s Highlights:
Corey Riley aka “Small Mouth” of Savannah Trace #1, Diego Martin was shot and killed while cutting grass in the vicinity of Achong Street and South Quay, Laventille earlier on Friday 3rd May, 2024.
39-year-old Jerome Findley of Wharton Street, Laventille was shot and killed near his home on Thursday 2nd May, 2024.
An autopsy revealed that 20-year-old Darion Pierre, whose body was found down a precipice in Cotton Hill, Bonne Aventure, Gasparillo early on Wednesday 1st Amy, 2024, was shot to death.
There were reports of a shooting in Black Rock, Tobago on Thursday 2nd May, 2024.
A 20-year-old man is warded in a serious condition after he was chopped several times during an altercation with a man along Assaraf Road in Charlieville on Wednesday 1st May, 2024.
Two men and a woman issued apologies following a fracas at Lazy Lizard bar and Lounge in Rodney Road, Endeavour on Tuesday 30th April, 2024.
An investigation has been launched following claims of assault against local entertainer Kenneth Supersad and the allegations of poor customer service while making a report at a police station.
A man was arrested and charged in connection with the sexual assault of his friend’s girlfriend in Rio Claro on Saturday 27th April, 2024.
• The suspect was identified as 36-year-old Kevon Vieruel aka Dalawa of Bucket Corner, Rio Claro.
A man was granted $400,000 bail with surety after he was charged with multiple offences including two counts of Sexual Penetration and Kidnapping of a minor when he appeared before a Master of the High Court on Wednesday 1st May, 2024.
• The suspect was identified as 63-year-old Issac John, of Guapo.
A 30-year-old man was granted bail in the sum of $300,000, with surety when he appeared before a Master of the High Court, charged with multiple offences including Breach of a Protection Order against his common-law wife.
Police are investigating a video which circulated on social media of a man smoking while wearing a blue police jacket.
• Senior police officers confirmed that the man seen in the video is not a police officer and are investigating how he got a hold of the jacket with the police insignia on the sleeve and the detachable “police” insignia on the chest.
Two “Social media hotties” identified as Renee Stephanie Sampson aka “RiRi” and Surayyah Harrigan were caught shoplifting at Massy Stores.
• Sampson who was reportedly dressed in Muslim attire during the incident and Harrigan were subsequently detained pending further investigations.
Dash Cam footage captured a woman identified as Laura Neptune stealing a taxi driver’s cellphone on Thursday 2nd May, 2024.
A man was robbed after withdrawing money from a bank in Trincity on Wednesday 1st May, 2024.
A 53-year-old woman was assaulted during an attempted robbery in Longdenville on Wednesday 1st May, 2024.
Three firearms and a quantity of ammunition and Marijuana were seized in the Western Division on Wednesday 1st May, 2024.
The Tobago House of Assembly’s Office of the Chief Secretary announced the re-opening of all beaches and beach facilities today, following the shark attack incident last Friday.
A house was gutted by fire near Vierra Street in Enterprise on Thursday 2nd May, 2024.
• Persons who were trapped inside the house were rescued by a neighbour before the entire building was engulfed in flames.
