HEMP FOR VICTORY – 1943 US GOVERNMENT EDUCATIONAL FILM
This US Government propaganda film was made during WWII to help propagate (pun intended) the US hemp industry. It was aimed at farmers at a time when the US Military was facing a shortage of hemp and demonstrates how hemp is grown and processed into rope and other products.
There was actually a federal mandate requiring all US farmers to view this film during WWII.
*THIS FILM IS IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN AND MAY BE REPRODUCED OR COPIED WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION*
I have edited both the sound and video the best that I could to help present this in a widescreen format for modern media devices.
