The country of Afghanistan is world renowned for its hash – or the most pure form of cannabis. In fact, it’s believed that hash originated in this country (Afghan hash) and even today, it’s the world’s largest exporter. Some people even say that Afghanistan is synonymous with hash.

I wanted to dive deep into the hash culture of Afghanistan, so my friend and I went to the Balkh province and this is what we discovered.
