How BAD Are Energy Drinks for Your HEALTH? (Doctor’s Opinion)

Energy drinks may not be as beneficial as they claim to be. Popular drinks like GHOST or Monster contain a TON of caffeine, sugar, and amino acid taurine.

When consumed frequently, this can lead to negative side effects such as heart palpitations, hypertension, and dehydration. What about the vitamins in energy drinks? Well, due to the high caffeine, you often wash them out of your system before you can absorb them.

What’s a better alternative? Here’s three from Dr. Mitch:

1. Drink more water
2. Make homemade almond milk
3. Drink more green tea
