Join our panel of mental health and wellness experts to get three unique and special perspectives on maintaining and sustaining a sound mind and body throughout your music career, regardless of your role in the industry.

We’ll talk about specific foods you can eat to fuel yourself for long tours and late studio nights, how to create a safe space to speak about the peaks and valleys that come with this business, and unique ways to create music to heal yourself and others. Meet our panelists:

Emmaline Rasmussen MS, RDN, E-RYT: Emmaline is the founder of Sound Nutrition, an organization designed to meet the nutrition and wellness needs of artists and professionals in the music and creative industries. Emmaline is a Registered Dietitian specializing in neurology and integrative medicine.

Spencer Hughes: Spencer is co-founder of Music Minds Matter, and also facilitates the Mental Wellness Meetup for musicians in the community who are struggling with their mental wellness as it pertains to being involved in the music scene and beyond using skills learned while obtaining his license as a Mental Health First Aid instructor. Music Minds Matter offers a safe space for musicians and those involved in music to chat about successes or challenges they’re facing.

Shel (Our Daughter): Shel is a healing artist, songwriter, and producer creating under the pseudonym ‘Our Daughter’. Shel supports creatives in their journey of living the life they desire by fostering expression from a place of inner knowing. Shel uses her healing practice in shadow work to help artists release limiting beliefs and tap into their deepest desires.
