The three days Rotary’s Sarvam 2023 Expo on Health, Wellness and Sustainability concluded yesterday 12/02/2023. Tmt. Supriya Sahu IAS (Addl. Chief Secretary Environment, Climate Change and Forests, Govt. of Tamilnadu) was Chief Guest, Rtn. Elizabeth Usovicz – Rotary International Director and Rotary International President’s Representative was the Special Guest from USA and Thiru. Krishnan Sadagopan, Sr. Vice President (Engine Development), Ashok Leyland was Guest of Honour. The sustainability fair is first of its kind in Chennai, it was organised by Rotary anywhere in the world in Chennai in the history – Rtn Jaishankar Unnithan, MD of Sankar Group of Companies was the Chairman of Rotary’s Sarvam Expo 2023. Over 120 different companies & brands have put their stalls related to green energy, plastic alternative products for sustainable living, low energy consuming lighting solutions, organic food products and products which are easily biodegradable and nature friendly on display. Over 7,500 people such as entrepreneurs, rotarians, general public and students from various colleges in Chennai visited the sustainability expo.
